| Wielka płyta nagrana w cieniu wielkiej tragedii. W trakcie sesji nagraniowej, w grudniu 2009 roku, zmarł perkusista Avenged Sevenfold, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan. Zastąpił go w studiu zaprzyjaźniony z zespołem, a wówczas bębniący w Dream Theater, Mike Portnoy. Powstało epickie, znakomicie wyprodukowane przez Mike'a Elizondo (Dr. Dre, Eminem) i zmiksowane przez Andy'ego Wallace'a metalowe dzieło, które od razu zameldowało się na szczycie listy "Billboardu", spychając z pierwszej pozycji Eminema.
