By the time the album by the same name saw the light of day, everyone was asking at their favourite record store for Green Onions. Being an instrumental soul band, they were the house band of Stax Records in the sixties, playing on hundreds and hundreds of recordings by the likes of Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett and Bill Withers.
