| Finland's sword-bearing metal merchants Ensiferum are back with a crushing new mini-CD, filled to the brim with melodies honouring the Nordic pagan heritage, delivered with the firm conviction of seasoned professionals they are. Indeed, the band just celebrated their 10th anniversary in a concert on New Year's Eve, with a possible DVD release of the said show in the works. After a successful trip to Copenhagen's legendary Sweet Silence Studies to record with Flemming Rasmussen (known for his ground-breaking work with Metallica in their speed metallic prime), the Ensiferum longship landed nearer home this time around, and the band entered Sonic Pump Studios for the recording of the present opus "Dragonheads".
