| On Friday May 23, the impressive 3 minute long Nike "Write The Future" commercial was launched through Facebook, Youtube and on TV in 32 countries during the Champions League football Cup Final. The commercial is starring football heroes Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Franck Ribery, but also basketball player Kobe Bryant and cartoon character Homer Simpson, and is directed by Hollywood director Alejandro G. Ińarritu. To support their World Championship 2010 campaign, Nike chose the hit "Hocus Pocus" by the Dutch band Focus.
Rock band Focus from the Netherlands was started by the classically schooled organ & flute player Thijs Van Leer, in 1969. [...more...]
