Ostatni krążek Korn, wydany w 2011 r. "The Path of Totality", który był znakomitym połączeniem dubstepu i metalu, odniósł spory sukces komercyjny i zadebiutował w Top 10 listy Billboardu Top 200 chart.
Przy "The Paradigm Shift" zespół po raz pierwszy pracował z super producentem Donem Glimorem [Linkin Park The Hybrid Theory, etc.]. Płyta powstała w studiu Bucka Owensa w Bakersfield (w rodzinnym mieście zespołu) oraz w Los Angeles w NRG Recording Studios.
