Paul Gilbert about Vibrato:
There are 4 new vocal songs, 4 new instrumental songs, and 3 live tracks from my 2010 "Fuzz Universe" tour. These live tracks are "Roundabout" by Yes, "I Want to Be Loved" by Muddy Waters, and "Go Down" by AC/DC. The live band features guitarist and singer Tony Spinner who adds some amazing vocals to these tunes, as well as some killer guitar battles and guitar harmonies.
"Roundabout" is especially impressive in that all the keyboard parts being played on guitar. Jeff Bowders (on drums) and Craig Martini (on bass) complete the band on these live tracks. I should also mention that one of the studio instrumental tracks is "Blue Rondo a la Turk" by Dave Brubeck. [...more...]
