| Wydana w 1995 roku płyta "Jagged Little Pill" odniosła oszałamiający sukces, przekładający się na ponad 33 mln sprzedanych kopii na całym świecie i dała Alanis Morissette światową sławę. Dokładnie dziesięć lat po premierze tego materiału, Kanadyjka powróciła do piosenek sprzed lat, tym razem przedstawiając je w spokojniejszej, akustycznej wersji.
