Since the three Finns around Eicca Toppinen caused an upset in the metal and classic world with their debut album "Plays Metallica by four Cellos" in 1996, the graduates of the renowned Sibilius-Akademie have not only created their own business market but also refined their inimitable style steadily. Always between Schostakowitsch and Slayer, Prokofiew and Pantera they show both the metal part and the classic world respect - and vice versa! On their album "Apocalyptica" there are 11 examples of their outstanding songwriter skills, for instance the first single "Bittersweet", the finish super star duet with Ville Valo (H.I.M) and Lauri Ylonen (The Rasmus), which instantly rose right to the top in the charts.
