| Artillery uznawany jest za jeden z najważniejszych zespołów, który przyczynił się do rozwoju sceny thrash metalowej. Formacja znana jest przede wszystkim z niezwykłej wirtuozerii, która sprawiła że osiągnęli legendarny status, stając się jednym z najważniejszych zespołów lat 80. Zespół powstał w 1982 roku w Taastrup, na przedmieściach Kopenhagi. W 1985 roku Artillery wydał demo "Fear of Tomorrow', a następnie swój pierwszy pełnowymiarowy album pod tym samym tytułem. W 1991 roku, nakładem Roadrunner Records ukazuje się trzecia płyta w dorobku Duńczyków - "By Inheritance". Reedycja albumu wzbogacona jest o bonusowe utwory. [...more...]
