| "Seventh Star" w zamierzeniu miał być solowym albumem Tony'ego Iommiego. W rezultacie powstała jedna z najbardziej przystępnych płyt w dyskografii metalowej grupy. Mimo kilku ostrych utworów ("In For The Kill", "Angry Heart") bliższa tradycyjnej muzyce rockowej (orientalizujące "Seventh Star", poprockowe "In Memory", czy inspirowane Deep Purple "Turn To Stone"). Wszystkie utwory zaśpiewał wywodzący się z tej formacji wokalista Glenn Hughes. Na albumie po raz pierwszy w składzie Black Sabbath pojawia się grający na instrumentach klawiszowych Geoff Nicholls, związany z grupą przez kilka kolejnych lat. [...more...]
