| A pioneer of Chicago's fabled West Side sound, Buddy Guy is the living link to that city's halcyon days of electric Blues; straddling both traditional and modern Blues, as well as musical generations. Originally playing in the style of his first big influence, Guitar Slim, Buddy's guitar histrionics and tortured, high-pitched, gospel-influenced vocal style put him in a category all of his own.
