| Płyta "Breaking Ground" nagrana została w Kanadzie, pod okiem uznanego producenta Rhysa Fulbera (m.in. Fear Factory, Paradise Lost). Paulina Maślanka i Jarek Baran przebywali w jego domowym studio w Gibsons ( nieopodal Vancouver).
W studio zarejestrowano 14 utworów, z czego finalnie na albumie znalazło się 12 kompozycji. 7 z tych kompozycji, to piosenki premierowe, 5 to nowe wersje utworów z ostatniej studyjnej płyty grupy z 2004 roku - "Od Nowa" ("Anew").
Wszystkie kompozycje zaśpiewane zostały w języku angielskim. Paulę i Jarka wspomógł w studio perkusista sesyjny - Ryan Van Poederooyen (DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND).
