Devildriver powraca z piątym studyjnym krążkiem "Beast", wypełnionym kompozycjami chwytliwymi i jednocześnie złożonymi, technicznymi i bardziej agresywnymi niż kiedykolwiek wcześniej! Grupa zadebiutowała w 2003 r. albumem "DevilDriver", a już 2 lata później ukazał się znakomicie przyjęty "Fury of Our Maker's Hand". W 2007 r. formacja wydała płytę "The Last Kind Words", która stanowiła wyraźny krok naprzód w ewolucji zespołu, gdzie odszedł on od bardziej eksperymentalnych brzmień w kierunku brutalnej, technicznej ale też i bardziej melodyjnej muzyki.
