| Pierwszy od blisko ośmiu lat album studyjny będzie nazywał się "Eonian" i ukaże się 4.05. Fani znajdą na nim 10 premierowych kompozycji. Krążek wyprodukowany został przez zespół i Jensa Bogrena. Autorem okładki wydawnictwa jest Zbigniew Bielak. Wydanie albumu zbiega się z rocznicą 25-lecia zespołu, i jak podkreśla wokalista Shagrath, materiał jest swojego rodzaju hołdem dla historii Dimmu Borgir, a także dla historii norweskiego black metalu.
