Elephant Tree's second titanic volume of progressively heavy psychedelic doom! In late 2015, the Northern English quartet entered Paul Epworth's Church Studios with an album's worth of new compositions harvested from a tireless year of live shows in the UK and Europe. Tracked on the same console that Pink Floyd famously used to record Wish You Were Here, the band's self-titled opus is an ambitious blend of gloomy atmosphere and head-bobbing grooves that Ghost Cult Magazine calls, "Fresh as a breeze, heavy as a mountain troll, and bloody addictive." Think Windhand, Mars Red Sky, the best possible hybrid of stoner rock, pysch, and Sabbathian archetypes!
