| Dziesiąty album w dorobku Genesis, wydany oryginalnie w marcu 1980. W przerwie między tym krążkiem, a poprzednim "...And Then There Were Three...", Tony Banks i Mike Rutherford wydali solowe płyty. Część materiału, który Collins tworzył z myślą o "Duke", trafiła później w zmienionej formie na solowy debiut artysty, "Face Value". Wydawnictwo zostało ciepło przyjęte przez krytykę, która doceniła połączenie prog rocka z brzmieniem eksperymentalnym (10-minutowe "Duke's Travels/Duke's End" na zakończenie albumu) oraz pop-rockowe single "Turn It On Again", "Duchess" i "Misunderstanding". "Duke" to pierwszy album Genesis, który dotarł do 1. miejsca listy najchętniej kupowanych albumów w Wielkiej Brytanii.
