FORMER DEEP PURPLE BASSIST'S RARE FIRST SOLO ALBUM FROM 1977. Glenn Hughes' early days as a bassist and singer were spent with TRAPEZE. Over three albums, this heavy funk-rock trio blazed a path across the Southern half of the United States of America, but despite years of hard work never managed to break through in a big way. When the offer of a job in DEEP PURPLE came in 1973, Glenn Hughes was quick to take it. It worked well for a time but guitarist Blackmore, unable to get along with the new funk elements which had crept in, himself upped and left in 1975. A year on, Deep Purple announced their decision to split in 1976, and looked forward to blossoming solo careers.
