Zespół Jethro Tull wydał album "Stormwatch" we wrześniu 1979 roku, zamykając tym samym folkową trylogię, którą dopełniają "Songs from the Wood" (1977) i "Heavy Horses" (1978). Mająca złoty status płyta "Stormwatch" była też ostatnią nagraną w klasycznym składzie z końca lat 70. Grupę tworzyli wówczas Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, John Glascock, John Evan, David (obecnie Dee) Palmer i Barriemore Barlow. Z okazji 40 rocznicy premiery, w sprzedażny pojawia się "Stormwatch: 40th Anniversary Force 10 Edition".
