Contrasting graceful melodies in "In France They Kiss on Main Street," with Moog-driven African rhythms in "The Jungle Line," the album is a complex fusion of jazz and shimm ring avant-garde pop which won Joni a nomination for the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 19th annual Grammy Awards.
