The drive to remain fresh and immediate is at the heart of this Little River Band recording, "Rearranged" (2006). It reflects the changes to the live arrangements of the songs that have occurred over the years. These are classic LRB songs, brilliantly performed, and - although this album was recorded in the studio - captured with a real sense of the live feel that was the inspiration for the album. Little River Band was formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1975. It was originally a blend of musicians who had enjoyed success in other Australian acts. Their new focus was to get airplay on American radio, and they achieved that goal with good songwriting, powerful vocals, and guitar harmonies.
