Formed in 1974, PRAYING MANTIS were an important part of New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, along with bands like IRON MAIDEN, DIAMOND HEAD and SAXON, but they were disbanded in the 80s. After years and having in their line-up ex-IRON MAIDEN members, they were reformed and released albums in a more melodic hard rock way with huge success in Japan.
