During the early eighties Los Angeles was a veritable breeding ground for an epidemic of hard rock bands. A scene was rapidly developing but it wasnt until Quiet Riots debut album Metal Health hit the stores that the city was put on the map as the rock n roll capital of the world. The bands enduring #1 single Cum On Feel The Noise sent the album skywards, notching up sales of ten million and opening the way for others, including Ratt, Dokken and others to follow in their slipstream. QR III is, as the name suggests, the bands third album (originally released in 1986) and showcases some major changes, not only musically but also on the personnel front bassist Rudy Sarzo was replaced by Chuck Wright (from Giuffria).
