| Odonata' blends fiery instrumental work with lyrical incisiveness, using the 12-string harp guitar, 6-string Acoustic and Masters' soulful English vocals as its vehicle. Stuart Masters is a consummate guitar player and an intriguing singer. His playing technique and compositional skills have roots deep in Western and Indian folk and classical traditions but on such songs as 'Waking Mind', psych folk is probably an apt description of just one place he takes his music.
Stuart is a regular performer in South East Asia, as well as the UK & Europe, and frequently takes to the stage with Don Alder, Justin King, and Dan LaVoie as part of the 'Fingerstyle Collective'. [...more...]
