South Africa's biggest Band performed on the FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 KICK-OFF CONCERT! A 300 dates spanning, completely Sold-out World-tour in 18 months, brought The Parlotones under the eyes and ears of Music-fans & lovers in Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, the Benelux, Russia, the United States, parts of Asia and Great-Britain. Final closure of this extensive tour was a concert in The Dome in Johannesburg, loaded with 12.000 fans. It was the First time ever in History that a South African band filled a headliner-spot in The Dome. Since the FIFA WORLD CUP took place in South Africa, The Parlotones had the unique opportunity to play the "KICK-OFF CELEBRATION CONCERT", organized by the FIFA, alongside big names as Alicia Keys, Shakira and The Black Eyed Peas.
