| THE PIXIES: Trompe Le Monde
Żywimy pewien rodzaj zazdrości do ludzi, którzy pierwsi w dziejach wycisnęli trzy akordy z gitary - wspomniała kiedyś Kim Deal. Ja sama napisałam "Sweet Jane" Velvetów co najmniej dziesięć razy. Wzięłam gitarę do ręki, coś tam brzdąkałam, aż dotarło do mnie, że gram "Glorię"... I pewnie dlatego "Planet Of Sound" tak bardzo przypomina granie The Velvet Underground. I pewnie również dlatego "Head On" nieodparcie kojarzy mi się z jakimś numerem Stonesów. "Alec Eiffel" z kawałkiem Television. "Letter To Memphis" z niejakim Iggy Popem. A "Bird Dream Of The Olympus Mons" - wiem, że to nieprawdopodobne - z New Order. [...więcej...]
