| From 1973-76 ex-Outsiders singer Wally Tax made some of the most accomplished and affecting music of his career. Teamed with a sympathetic producer (Martin Duiser) and a gifted arranger (Hans Hollestelle), Tax was at last able to make the kind of records he'd dreamed of: an alluring cocktail of romantic pop, folk, and rock informed by the work of Aznavour, Sinatra, Tim Hardin, Jacques Brel, Ray Charles, Hank Williams, Roy Orbison and Johnny Jordaan, but always delivered with his own personal touch.
