Przygotowano je dla uczczenia jubileuszu 50-lecia rozpoczęcia przez Curtisa solowej kariery. Całość otrzymała tytuł "Keep On Keeping On: Curtis Mayfield Studio Albums 1970-1974", a składają się na nią albumy "Curtis" (1970), "Roots" (1971), "Back to the World" (1973) oraz "Sweet Exorcist" (1974). Wydane zostają jako 4CD, 4LP Curtis Mayfield najpierw zdobył sławę jako członek zespołu The Impressions. Potem opuścił go i zaczął z powodzeniem działać solowo.
