Rory Gallagher's seventh solo album, originally released in 1978,proved that he was still on the case as much as in the seven years before. It was also a return to the power trio band from the early days.
This rock-solid album saw Gallagher going back to basics, stripping down to just three musicians again.Photo-Finish, basically consisting of re-recorded versions of the tracks that were recorded earlier in San Francisco for analbum that got shelved because he wasn't happy with those versions,is in-your-face and full of energy.
Highlights include groover "The Mississippi Sheiks", hard rocker "Early Warning" and "Cruise On Out", a high octane stomper that gets even the most unwilling listener barefootin'.
