Musielibyśmy się bardzo starać, by nie zauważyć, że "Mellon Collie" to conceptalbum. Podtytuły nadane obu płytom, wreszcie ich oprawa graficzna jasno sugerują klimat. "Dawn To Dusk" (od świtu do zmierzchu), ryło uśmiechnięte. "Twilight To Starlight" (od zmroku po niebo gwiaździste), ryło smutne, łza na policzku. Dzień, jak to dzień - zaczyna się niezbyt bojowo, delikatnymi dźwiękami fortepianu, którym dyskretnie wtórują smyczki. Przeciągamy się, wstajemy z łóżka. W drodze do łazienki powoli opuszcza nas sen, człowiek myśleć zaczyna, może nawet dopadnie go jakaś refleksja a propos minionego wieczoru. [...more...]
