| W ciągu ostatnich lat zespoł Vintage Trouble porywał publiczność na całym świecie otwierając koncerty Rolling Stonesow, czy występując na trasach koncertowych zespołow The Who i AC/DC. Na pierwszym albumie nagranym dla wytworni Blue Note Records, ten pochodzący z Los Angeles zespoł złożony z czterech muzykow: wokalisty Ty Taylora, gitarzysty Nalle Colta, basisty Ricka Barrio Dilla i perkusisty Richarda Danielsona zaprezentował pełne energii nagrania w stylu rhythm & blues. To doskonała mieszanka bluesa, soulu i opartego na ostrych riffach rock and rolla. Na albumie "1 Hopeful Rd" udało się uchwycić znaną z koncertow emocjonalną intensywność połączoną z prostą, ale niepozbawioną wyrafinowania muzykalnością, ktora spowodowała, że "New York Times" nazwał ich dzisiejszym odpowiednikiem Otisa Reddinga, a BBC Radio 6 określiło grupę tytułem "bohaterow muzyki rhythm and blues".
