| After the Big Generator album in 1987, Jon Anderson teamed up with ex-Yes members Steve Howe, Rick Wakeman and Bill Bruford to make an album called Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe. Many people at the time believed that this ensemble was the true keeper of the Yes flame, and that the album sounded far more like classic Yes than had either Big Generator or its predecessor, 90125. The four piece went on tour billed as "An Evening of Yes Music Plus".
The tour - from which this legendary recording was taken - was a triumph artistically and commercially. But what happened next was completely unexpected; both ABWH and Chris Squire andbAlan White's version of Yes joined forces for another album and tour. [...more...]
