After more than twenty successful years, Andras Nagy, the bassist/vocalist of internationally well-known and highly influential Hungarian atmospheric black metal band SEAR BLISS wanted to realize some musical ideas which would leave behind his original band's boundaries and can lead the listeners to a whole new world of him. This intention guided him to nine new songs which sound completely different from each other, yet all of them fit in a unique, unified frame of mind. Although, ARKHE had started as a one-man side project, it became an actual band with some of Andras' ex- and present Sear Bliss band mates, such as Attila Kovacs (guitar), Oliver Zisko (drums), and Balazs Bruszel (trumpet).
