It shows-- in both the raw frat-party frenzy that marks many of the Mar-Keys tunes to the more refined blues sensibility of those by Booker T. & the MGs. Guitarist Cropper was a member of both bands, and they shared other personnel in the studio, particularly bassist Donald "Duck" Dunn (who replaced original MGs member Lewie Steinberg), drummer Al Jackson, Jr., and keyboardist Booker T.
