| Warner Music Poland Release Information The album "Vol. 1 & Vol. 2" (SACD Hybrid) by Czesław Niemen in a limited edition, in the series "Polskie Nagrania Catalogue Selections". This is the first edition of this album in the SACD (Super Audio Compact Disc) format. The choice of this format is a nod to audiophiles. "Niemen Vol. 1" and "Niemen Vol. 2" have been two albums, named "Marionetki" (Marionettes) by Niemen years later, after the title of the opening track of the second album, to lyrics by Norwid. The albums were recorded in 1972 by Grupa Niemen (Group Niemen), as Czesław Niemen called the group. [...more...]
