| Yet again here is a set that proves the rule of the reissue scene-when JSP do it you can throw away other reissues-it will be definitive and final.
There have been some inadequate attempts to cover the Dr Ross 1950's recordings but here it is, for the first time, done completely and comprehensively. How? Compiler Neil Slaven is the only person who had all the material, every other source was incomplete! This is fabulous music-produced by Sam Phillips at Sun and features a musician who was so much more than a one man band-Dr Ross, a truly important figure in post war blues history.
