Proud Like A God is the debut album of German Alternative Rock band Guano Apes. The album was released in 1997 and it includes the hit singles "Open Your Eyes", "Rain" and "Lords Of The Boards". The album made them a popular European concert draw with its punk- and alternative-flavored Hard Rock.
