When Holocausto first released Campo de Exterminio in 1986, from the onset the band became one of the most controversial exponents in the then highly dynamic Brazilian Metal scene. The hideous depiction on the album cover stirred many conversations about the band's stance towards war and its horrors. Over the years Campo de Exterminio went on to become a vastly sought after rare gem of Heavy Metal.
