| & Rock Diszkont Release Information Illes were one of the most determinative Hungarian beat & rock bands who had a huge impact both socially and musically, with their songs being sung and passed on by word of mouth for five decades. Due to their local impact, they were sometimes dubbed "The Hungarian Beatles". Illes started during the late 50s as a family music band. After several member changes (and also musical changes), the legendary final line-up was assembled on New Year's Eve 1964, Then they also started to write their own songs, which partly appeared in films.
