| Legendary drummer-extraordinaire Carmine Appice formed King Kobra in 1984 after his tenure with Ozzy Osbourne.
After two successful albums on Capitol records, "Ready to Strike" in 1985 and "Thrill of a Lifetime" in 1986, and a third, "King Kobra III", which was released on Appice's own Rocker label, Carmine decided to dissolve the band and join guitarist John Sykes on his Blue Murder project. In 2001 Carmine Appice emerged with a new King Kobra line-up and struck again with "Hollywood Trash", but subsequently dedicated himself to other projects over the next decade.
