| In a career that has spanned very nearly a quarter of a century and well over 6000 performances throughout Europe and the United States, it comes as something of a surprise to note that King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys have only released one live album. That was in 1993 when 'Live at Ronnie Scotts' saw the light of day and when jazz still ruled on Birmingham's Broad Street.
The studio albums have kept coming, but now the band has listened to the growing groundswell of opinion and come up with 'Live At Last' with an implied apology to all those good folk who have been waiting far too long. [...more...]
