| Przez trzydzieści lat kariery muzycznej, formacja Necrophobic jest niekwestionowaną legendą death i black metalowego podziemia. Założony w 1989 roku przez perkusistę Joakima Sternera, sztokholmski zespół od samego początku propagował niezwykłą i nieustraszoną wizję, potwierdzając przy tym swoją pozycję legendarnym już debiutanckim albumem "The Nocturnal Silence" z 1993 roku. "Womb of Lilithu' " to kontynuacja reedycji katalogu muzycznego Necrophobic. Oryginalnie wydany album w 2013 jest ich siódmym studyjnym krążkiem. Dwa dodatkowe utwory nie były nigdy wcześniej opublikowane.
