Swedish band Paatos has been given many labels: Post-Rock, Prog-Rock, Gothic, Art-Rock and even Trip-Hop. Given a choice, however, they prefer the Cinematic Rock category. For the past few years they have concentrated on playing live and this has given their fifth album a renewed sense of confidence, maturity and direction. Paatos is a Swedish rock group based in Stockholm, Sweden. The band shows influences from a wide variety of styles and genres. Some call it Post-rock, others Progressive Artrock, and even Goth is sometimes referred to.
