Gimme Some was recorded in the famous Tambourine Studios in Malmo (where The Cardigans have recorded most of their work). For this album they enlisted Per Sunding, who previously produced the albums of Good Shoes and The Wannadies.
In 2006 Peter, Bjorn & John charged into the public ear with their whistleâwhileâyouâwork pop hit "Young Folks". But for those of us who had been paying attention, the breakthrough had only been a matter of time.
Inspired by '60s Baroque Pop, Power Pop and New Wave this Swedish trio had created some of the most exciting Indie Rock of the decade.
