| Supraphon Release Information "Seance" is the famous 4th album of the Jesenik tandem Svejdik - Kruzik, which started a new era of songs. It contains hits such as "Ulice" (Streets), "Ave Maria" and "Kralovstvi" (The Kingdom). Just before November 1989, a group of young men from Jesenik, playing under the name Chlapi z Prace, decided to rename their band after Vincenzo Priessnitz, a Jesenik water healer and founder of the local spa. On the album "Seance", released on Indies Records in 1996 and produced by Jan P. Muchow, strings are added and the songs are clearly more song-like. The cover art was done by frontman Jaromir Svejdik himself, partly foreshadowing his later career as a cartoonist (the Alois Nebel comic strip). [...more...]
