Roachford remains one of the few acts to successfully blend rock and soul music in a manner that appealed to music lovers in both camps. While many musicians of the late 80s were committing themselves to a gove and sound that became known as "Streetsoul", Andrew Roachford arched to an altogether different tempo, one that called upon a far geater and diverse range of influences and inspirations. "Get Ready!" was Roachford's second album, originally released in 1991. This expanded edition features the hit title track as well as the many non-album b-sides and 12" mixes. The booklet includes all the lyrics and extensive notes by Tony Rounce.
