Inspired by bands like Scorpions, Accept and Judas Priest, they turned into one of the few successful female-fronted metal bands. Doro Pesch quickly became the band's spokesperson and on August 16, 1986 she was the first woman to front a band at the legendary Monsters Of Rock festival at Castle Donington in England, sharing the bill with such big names as Motorhead, Ozzy Osbourne and Def Leppard.
