Warwick Davis, Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley star in this fantasy adventure directed by Ron Howard. When the evil sorceress queen Bavmorda (Jean Marsh) learns of a prophecy that a child with a special birthmark will bring about her downfall, she imprisons every pregnant woman in her realm. After the child is born, she is smuggled out of the castle and sent downriver where she is found by aspiring sorcerer Willow Ufgood (Davis).
