| Z ponad 3 milionowym nakładem sprzedanych płyt i 10 albumami studyjnymi na koncie, szwedzka formacja In Flames nie tylko na nowo zdefiniowała pojęcie deathmetalu ale i wyszła poza jego granice tworząc gatunek zwany przez fanów 'melodic death metal'. Powstała w 1990 roku grupa koncertowała m.in. z Metallicą, Slayerem, Motörhead czy Slipknotem, zgarnęła też mnóstwo nagród, w tym prestiżową Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award. Ich ostatni krążek "Sounds of a Playground Fading" pokrył się Złotem i zadebiutwał w TOP30 amerykańskiej listy Billboard TOP200.
Nowy, pierwszy nagrany dla Sony Music album "Siren Charms" zespół nagrywał w legendarnych Hansa Studios w Berlinie, gdzie powstały klasyczne już płyty takich artystów jak Iggy Pop, David Bowie, U2
