Don and Phil Everly, born in Kentucky in 1937 and 1939 respectively went on to become one the most successful
and well respected vocal harmony groups of all time. Influenced by both Country and Rock & Roll the brothers
were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and the Country music hall of Fame in 2001.
With massive hits including Bye Bye Love, Wake Up little Susie , Love Hurts and Cathy's Clown the band developed
a massive following both in the States and the UK. The brothers were not only loved by the fans but also
revered by fellow artists, Keith Richards called Don Everly "one of the finest rhythm players" and the pair both
worked with Paul Simon on Gracelands.
