Matt Elliott jest jednym z najciekawszych brytyjskich muzykow jakich wydało miasto Bristol. Jest zarowno muzykiem grającym na wielu instrumentach jak mi uznanym producentem (m.in. Rustic Houses, Forlorn Valleys oraz The Cycle Of Days And Seasons zespołu Hood). Był członkiem zespołow Movietone, Amp i Flying Saucer Attack. Karierę solową rozpoczął pod pseudonimem Third Eye Foundation. Od roku 2001 wydaje muzykę pod własnym nazwiskiem. Osiem pierwszych płyt Elliotta wydała brytyjska wytwornia Domino.
